I bought 3 of these stools to use at my kitchen island. They swivel totally. Spin, but they kind of return to the correct forward position when vacated. They only spin when someone is seated on them.Protective floor pads were provided. I am not a small-hipped woman and it fits comfortably. These stools were ordered from ivg after I sent back an unacceptalbe set of stools from another company. They were about 30$ more per stool, but worth it. Slow shipment,however,and the email letter should have had more information and pic to show product verification. I wanted to review this product.
