I bought 2 of these stools to replace 12-year-old stools which no longer matched my kitchen and had become shabby. The new stools are a perfect match to my natural maple cabinets, and are also beautiful, well-made, more ample in size, and much sturdier than my old stools. I can't imagine that they will ever wear out.

this stool replaced a metal stool which had been used a long time. the cushion on this wooden stool is not as padded as the metal stool but is still well made.the wood finish is very good.
there are much cheaper stools for sale but this stool looks like it will be around for the long haul. time will tell.

I sit at the counter with my arthritic knees, bad back and aching joints and the stool takes away a lot of pain. this stool looks like it will last forever. very comfy back and seat and the wood finish( natural) is great. this is a professional chair and it's in my kitchen. WOW!

I was not sure when I ordered this product if I was getting a good value. I shouldn't have worried. The Bulldog Wooden Barstool is the sturdiest barstool I have ever seen. The stools are quality-made, the finish is beautiful and the metal on the footrest bar was an unexpected extra touch that speaks also of its quality. I could hardly believe the price we paid for four stools - far less than you would pay elsewhere. We have had the stools for three years now and there are no signs of wear. My daughter- and son-in-law also ordered them after they saw ours.

I was hesitant to buy online since I couldn't see the stools but the reviews were good. I took a chance and.... I love these stools and the kids (8, 6 & 22 months) all like them. They are comfortable, attractive and sturdy. I loved that you could pick out all the colors and styles. I ordered and received exactly what I was hoping for - cheaper than the stores around me.

We bought four for the island and use them daily. they are quality hardwood, very study, excellent finish resistant to bangs, bumps, and food products. Great price for the value. would do it again in a heartbeat.

We use these at a counter height kitchen table and at a peninsula. They are SOLID, and seem to be ding-proof...well, no dings yet in 3 years! The optional brass kick bar protects the foot rail which happens to be thick enough to withstand an adult's weight. We got the padded seats which makes them incredibly comfortable and little kids don't slip off them like they would on wooden seats.

We use these chairs at our kitchen island. They're sturdy, attractive, and relatively comfortable. Better and more comfortable, like most barstools, with a cushion.

I shopped around before I bought these (sight unseen) and thought the value was good. The quality is also high. The color we bought is a perfect match for our cherry cabinets.

The only thing I don't like is that we had to replace 2 of the upholstered seats because of kids spilling. I wish you could just order the material instead of the whole seat. I think that would be beneficial to everyone to have the choice to either order the whole seat or just the material.

With twin three year olds and the abuse they can put on any furniture, these chairs have held up beautifully. I am very well pleased with the style, comfort, and construction of my bar stools. However, I ordered the cream finish as my color choice, but the stools really look pink/peach instead of cream. They will need to be redone for my decor.

This chair is a match to a lower version x4 that I have around my kitchen table. All of the chairs have worked very well (practical) and look great since first recieving them. They are very sturdy. They have never fallen or tipped over. I have a 3 and 6 year old so safety is a priority. They wipe off easily as need frequently with their messy hands. VERY PLEASED.

The first four chairs came [...] That was several years ago. They have held up well with two kids. The chairs are at the kitchen counter and used for eatting, art projects etc etc. Easy to clean, very sturdy. Recently my mother in law moved in and we needed a fifth chair. We ordered it again and matched it great. Only negative is that my husband and I are tall enough for this height, the kids are great at climbing up, but my mother in law is short. She would have preferred shorter, but she would not reach the counter. If you are shorter, plan shorter.

These are the BEST stools ever!! They have been in daily use for two years and still look like new. They have stood up to the toughest test of all...five active boys. Even with all these boys climbing up and down on them, they have never tipped. Wonderful, wonderful chairs:)
